Well I made it... Retired Today

Congratulations!
I retired two years ago at 57 myself. It took a while to get used to, but after that first fifteen minutes it is the best feeling ever! Every day is Saturday. Some mornings I get up and just giggle.

If you really want to piss off the working folks tell then every day is MONDAY!

Good for you. Like JFRANK who still hikes, no matter what, don't start taking it easy. Keep moving doing something to make you suffer a little or things will go down hill fast. You've been active a long time, so don't stop now. and there will be a chapter 3

I have been build additions, decks, small pole barns on the side for years and just finished building our house so I still plan on doing some of that( now I can cherry pick what I wanna do ). Yes health is the thing that can break us all so I am gonna do my best to stay active. I think chasing the grandkids will help to, man they have energy....

Once I retired, it wasn't long before I started thinking about going back to work for a little time off! Amazing how many projects had accumulated.
