Quality scope rings are great but only as good as the base and even more so, the alignment of the base screw holes in the receiver. If the screw holes are off any amount then the base is off and rings also.what is special about these rings ? are they any better than say Leupold rings or Burris signature rings with the inserts ?
what is the torque setting for Burris ringsQuality scope rings are great but only as good as the base and even more so, the alignment of the base screw holes in the receiver. If the screw holes are off any amount then the base is off and rings also.
This is where I believe Burris rings shine. They can correct for any misalignment in any of those items and allow you to get your scope pointed in the same spot as your barrel without the need to lap them and also ensure you're not maring your scope tube at the same time.
Sorry I dont knowwhat is the torque setting for Burris rings
