Urbanrifleman's Barrel in 223 AI ....Saweet!

I hate to buy more powder as I have an abundance of the PP 2000 MR , AA 2230 and Superformance

I really gotta find a load with one of those ...as good as it's grouping I'm sure Ill settle
on something that will kill yotes .....I'm Mc Lovin this barrel from Brad and have him
making me another for a back up !

That Chrony is going into the shit can I'm getting a Garmin ...done with
no reads ...no data ....
Same problem for my Chrony also. I sent it back to the factory twice same thing each time. And an old timer told me what was wrong! He said why are you mounting that thing on a tri pod for a camera? I said everybody does! He said drag that 55 gal. metal drum out there about 15' and put a piece of plywood on top and a rubber bungie over the barrel and hooked on both side to hold that thing solid and no movement and it will work fine. I happen to have that in the truck when i left for the range that day and it worked and been using it that way every since. He said the problem is that flimsy camera tripod moves to much and the slight puff of air moves it and you get a bad or false reading. They are set up to measure that bullet path setting perfectly still it moves any at all you get a bad or n reading. He was 100% correct. Been doing it his way every since.

I gave that piece of chit to a fellow shooter ....
I am done worrying about alignment and threading it through the window etc..
I can see the blast wave indeed moving through the window and doing that ...
makes sense ...

I'm not one for lugging a 55 gallon drum around ...lol !

Although I have many things to buy to prepare for whats coming in a few months
spending 600 on a chrony had me reeling back ..as bad as I want the Garmin I
looked on barfcom and there are a bundle of Labradar and I found a new one a guy
was giving away at 225 shipped with usb battery and cable ...I grabbed it ! got the mini
tripod on the way as well as the airgun microphone...should be light years better...

I've got an AB Raptor 10 ring with 5" reflex for this rifle
on the way and that's another grand
plus 200 tax stamp ...I need to be frugal

I ordered some 60tmks and found that they would not shoot out of a .223, shot better out of a 223 ai and shot best out of a 22-250ai……..
they like speed

I had zero issues loading 60 TMKs in 223. They were stupid accurate. What powder were you using??

Here is RE15 60 TMK 100yd test. Top and bottom rows same loads just top row is Rem7.5BR primers and bottom row is 205M primers... 205M were more consistent

And here is AR Comp

All my 223 based stuff has been with 14 and 12 twist barrels, never messd with fasr rwist and heavier bulletts. But it’s real easy to make the 223 case shoot accurately.and for lighter bullets to zip right along. My 223AI load is 28.0gr / Vv133 / 7-1/2 primer. 50gr bullet .005” off the lands. Very nicely accurate ar 3825. Shoots well in 3 differet barrels. I’ve shot 40’s at upweds of 4200 with also very nice accuracy.
Rem 700, 25” barrel, zero freebore, IMI brass

Second on the TAC. I am using it with my 223AI-1-12" twist and the 53 vmax. About 3600fps.
With Varget, I Push the 60TMK to 3700+ in my 22 Cr barrel I got from Brad. No problems

With nothing but the very best components, from Federal brass to Chinese Discovery ("better than" IOR Valdada) scope, you're sure to get fantastic results.
Yeah thats right ...I live in a million dollar home on 30 acres with a 2 acre pond how about you ?
