For me 80g hillbillies for 100 and 200 hands down
That really is a great bullet! He makes it in both a fb and a bt and they are very near identical in performance. Even right down to the exact same load and seating depth, which kinda blows my feeble mind, but I've talked to others that say the same thing. For me 80g hillbillies for 100 and 200 hands down
He makes a BT aswell? I didn't knowThat really is a great bullet! He makes it in both a fb and a bt and they are very near identical in performance. Even right down to the exact same load and seating depth, which kinda blows my feeble mind, but I've talked to others that say the same thing.
Does Berger still make a 6mm 70grainer?Anything Barts
In a 6x45 gas gun I've run Originals, Ultras, Avenger and Dominator ranging in weight from 65-80 grain.
70gr Varmintgedon shoot amazing beating out 70 Berger.
105 Hammers in the 6br is hard to beat a few $$$ more than Berger but worth it to me.
Tried some 103VT this year, I had to stop shooting them. They have a bad habit of going into the same hole making for extremely small groups and difficulty in deciphering what your next move is with your tune.
Great bullet!!
Scenar are a great production bullet often overlooked due to lower BC's, unfortunately thier prices are up there with Berger now.
I just want to know what bullet is the most accurate bullet you have used no matter what rifle or caliber. As some have said before, different rifles like different bullets also, accuracy requirement differ depending on the application. I require more accuracy from my prone rifles than I do my hunting rigs. Benchrest shooters need a higher degree of accuracy than all other disciplines lumped to together. With that said, I'd never take a BR bullet hunting. Tell us more about your intended application and hopefully you will get some more specific input.
I hope this helps,
Lloyd
Yep....or did. Still have some.He makes a BT aswell? I didn't know
I honestly don't know if they do or not.Does Berger still make a 6mm 70grainer?
I don't think so but if so, it should be on their site. They use to make a ton more bullets than they do now. They made a 74 gr 6mm bullet that was super in several bbls for me back then. IDR if it was the same jacket as the 70 but I think so.Does Berger still make a 6mm 70grainer?
yes, when you create a post, look for the poll tab next to the default discussion one, click and you'll see the options. Is there a way to do a poll on here?
Sierra 60gr hp, 6BRX varmint gun. That barrel and that bullet a match from heaven. And AckleymanII made some extremely accurate 65FB.Like it says, what is the absolute most accurate 6mm bullet you have shot? Does not matter what weight.
I meant cartridge, I kinda think you know that. The thread title just ask for (6 mm)
Lol not a problem man, so? What do you think?I thought I did and then I got confused but now I’m not.
