saubier.com

Hi Bob,
If you look around a bit I think you will notice quite a few names from Saubier here. How has life been treating you?

Sure hope someone can find a way to resurrect the data from Saubier if the site cannot be made fully functional again.

Do we, small caliber guys, hang out here now?
I’ve got some .17 Nagel’s to sell
I was very active on Saubier years ago. Divorce can definitely change your focus on important issues in life.
I’m back shooting after 10 years out of the shooting world.
I wish the best for Jim and his brother. Had several conversations with Jim over the years.
Bob
Sent you a PM.

What weight .172" Nagel's?

Most people do not value anything or anyone, until they're gone. Firearm forum users are some of the worst offenders of this mindset I've ever seen.

^ archive.

It won't all be there, since some forum admins think it's a good idea to deny spider access... but some will be there.
The military probably takes the cake as the worst offender of not appreciating someone until they are gone. Lol

It would appear that after the last 2-3 months of being down and nothing further regarding the notice of maintenance, it is a gone website.

If you didn’t see post #74 on this thread there is a link we limited access to the data on Saubier. I browsed it for a minute and read old articles and other things. It’s worth clicking on and it was a nice gesture.

Sounds/looks like the owner and his brother have little interest in dealing with keeping the site going. I’d wager it would take a very interested party to convince them to hand over the keys and get it back up and running.

It’s certainly a shame. It’s one reason I’m happy to buy a gold membership here every year and donate a little bit here and there throughout the year. This forum website has so much info not to mention a sense of community that if went away I‘d be in need of a therapeutic resolution. Luckily management here is pro active and engaged, something none of us should take for granted.

I hope I’m wrong, I hope Saubier gets back up and running. That was a go to place for all things small caliber. Losing that and the woodchuck den kind of sucks for the guys who love small stuff. At least I did get the 20 cal loading manual from Todd while I could.

Thanks I did see your link in post 74 but don't seem to be able to get anything except a blank page when I click on the forum headings, ie small caliber discussion board, bullet making etc
