Now this is a load I had to use, first known loads would not shoot but this load is top notch

Keith Olson.

He wanted a 222 Rem so I traded him a barrel for the reamer and headspace gauge. His was the first one I made. 12 twist.

52 Bergers. 8 shots. IMG_4985.jpg734476118.jpg

"This group measured .257 center to center
Same load gave .283 average for five consecutive five shot groups at 100 yards.
This was done with Lapua brass with over 25 loadings.
My next test will be to load 25 rounds each with twice shot Lapua brass and 25 of the "old"
brass and shoot round robin to see if it shows any differance.
I watch the threads about hand priming tools " working great!"
These rounds are all seated in cleaned, not uniformed, pockets seated in a press.
Seems to be working out just fine."

He knows what he doing for sure, I have a Wilson barrel in the 6mm xc & a 223 rem Wilson barrel both came him. Both shoots lights out. My next build will start with his insight for sure! I still tryin to decide what to go with, but the one thing I know for sure is it will start with him.

80.5 grain Berger in 22-250 barrel that Brad did for me, pic is (3) @100. I shot one moa steel swingers out to 500 today. At 300, on paper, I managed 4 out of 5 shots under an inch. The worst shot made it an 1 1/2” group.
It was a little breezy and of course I forgot the wind flags at home

So, Iv been wanting to put up my resent barrel load work up, and this seems to be the right thread to post it on. My most resent barrel is a Urban rifleman 6br 12twist. This is my 8th barrel from him. My first few where all 8 twists, and since I started shooting the 12 twists, I wanted to try my hands in benchrest. My local club shoots 100y indoor score matches. Iv been going there for about a year, and have shot about 7 matches there.
So at this point in the game. Every match seems to get a lil better each trip. I shoot two guns. One in Bra, and another in straight 6br. Both 12 twist.
My bra is a nut barrel and my straight six is shouldered prefit from Brad. My straight 6 came about from several conversations and all I did was send him my numbers, and he sent me a barrel . Head spaced perfectly. Was super impressed.

Now, how about how they shoot. They shoot great. Before I ordered the straight 6, the 6bra 12tw shot lights out. It's got over 1000 rounds and shot a 0.150. group. Today.
The new barrel, the straight 6, has shot several, several 0.2 inch groups. Yesterday, I found it's tune and was able to knock that .2 group in half.
So, today I verified that load. Three more times.
I'm happy with both barrels and will continue to shoot these til one of em gives up or I run out bullets. I shoot the 80g bullets with varget
Iv shot vv135, TS15.5, vv133,/ 68s bullets, and a few other powders and combos.

So basically, I shoot short range for score. And I need to hit a dot 25 times per match.
My goal is to shoot a perfect score one day. Iv posted a targets here and there. Iv even shot other barrels as of late. But these barrels from Brad are really good and Iv proven to myself these things will get the job done in practice.
Iv gotten close to shooting a perfect score, shooting several cards 100/8x. I'm just getting started it still seems like, and will get there. Point being, one of these two barrels will do it first and Brad's got a big hand in it. So, I'd like to thank him for what he does, and how much he's helped me.
Here's one target from each barrel
