Hey hey y'all
I'm a total nube to the comp shooting scene with plans of building my own F-T/R rig and joining the party. I've read the rules, searched the archives, and watched lots of vids but I still haven't resolved a few questions. I'm a devoted DIY kind of guy with a small machine shop and I want to design/fabricate as much as I can so I thought I should ask a few questions to be sure that I design tools that are legal. Top of the list is whether or not bipods with micro adjustments for elevation and windage are allowed in F-T/R. The Phoenix bipod and similar have elevation adjustments but I haven't seen anyone adjusting them between shots so I'm wondering if it's because it's not allowed or if it's because of the difficulty of reaching that adjuster from behind the gun. Presumably they're making adjustments at the rear bag since I don't see them adjusting things up front. The joystick bipod is obviously adjustable from behind the gun but I'm wondering about alternate solutions. Thanks in advance.
