Some race shop pics

You can identify with the tube chassis Comp car in these pics. It's for BB/A which now allows 'factory' style intercooling of the supercharger. The engine is basically a Factory Shootout engine with the later model Whipple supercharger where the intercooler is above the supercharger rather than below it. The car has to weigh 2,600 with driver and the index is 7.89. Given the power the Factory Shootout cars make, the math works out pretty well. :)
Yep, very cool diverse class. We've built some comp cars in the past, some of our prostock cars end up in comp. For the most part we're building 1 prostock a year and the rest are nhra and outlaw promods.

Hi Al, those engines are Arias Hemi Chevrolet's one is a fat head and the other is a narrow billet head. they both run on Moonshine. The Boss 500's we are playing with now run on yellow Hawaiian Punch. I will find some parts sheets for the alky motors...

We did this one yesterday.....283/220 NHRA Super Stock engine. If you follow the fuel line, you'll see the top of the carb is off. The front boosters are removed and some mods were being done to the air bleed circuitry. It made very good power. It went back home for a little massaging and will be back for some follow up before too long.

A very interesting side project is this twin turbo, EFI'd jet boat. Bob fab'ed this sealed aluminum box that contains the EFI unit, injector drivers, etc, etc. The wiring behind it will be in another sealed box that will allow for easier access for engine R&R, etc.
