Interesting that he leaked the background on his Tubb dust. (Battleship guns anti copper fouling). I use it and I dont know if it 'works' but the cost is negligible, so what. Must be based on the same chemistry as what is being used in some of the new low fouling powders.

Maybe it was because Tubb did't want to touch the hand of a man who beat him with a stock Savage and a non-wildcat chambering. The horror!
 
Tubb says he could see at 1000 a 6in spotter when it is half in and half out of the 10 in black with his normal vision....no wonder they invented F-class to even things out !!!
 
Not taking anything from him? He's a great shooter and innovator. It was an interesting interview and quite informative. There is a bit more to the story about what might have led up to him not giving Randy credit but won't bring that up here.

Randy was a relatively new shooter, completely alone with no team or even a spotter and other than an ARS chassis a stock gun. He's not a prone shooter but prevailed against the odds.

Once you attain the status Mr Tubb has achieved it would make any shooters day to even get an "Atta Boy".

I don’t know the man, never met him. But his records speak for themselves , I’m sure he was telling the Truth about seeing the spotter! … his targets were amazing

Side note, 40 years ago I tried short range br, I never saw so many prudes in my life!… if you didn’t have all top of the line stuff that they approved of, 87 years old and driving a Mercedes they wouldn’t even talk to ya!… fast forward another 20 years a buddy asked me if I wanted to go with him to Missoula Montana to shoot 1000 yard br?…. Hahaha hell no was my immediate answer, told him why….. he said these guys at Deep creek are the opposite of that!… he was right!… what a bunch of great guys all willing to help you out!… but never forgot how it felt to be snubbed and it’s no fun!
