Whidden has N140 and N150 8# in stock for $272.99I have been searching for n140 lately, no luck. with everyone switching to vv it will become impossible to find and this will drive prices up like the others. I am afraid we are our worst enemy.
Ramshot is a Hodgdon product as well.Ramshot and VV here due to price. Ramshot went up recently too.
Thanks for that tip Torsten. They've got a bunch of VV powders in stock cheaper than anywhere I've seen so far. VV will be getting my business from here on out. Choke on your powder Alliant!Whidden has N140 and N150 8# in stock for $272.99
Both Hornady and VihtaVuori have government contracts. As long as theirs conflicts around the world the powder situation won't get any better.
Why would they spend the money and resources to bottle up 1lb or 8lb containers
when you could sell pallet loads to governments, plus a lot of them have contracts
that have to be fulfilled first.
Alliant or the parent company doesn't give a rats ass about us.
Same with bullets, primers and brass.
That's why you see more Hornady bullets and Vihtavuori powder and others. Guessing they never
signed on to government contracts.
It's better than it was a year or two ago. If a couple of bottles of power came up it
would be gone in seconds.
Look at Berger bullets, you can get quite a few different ones now.
Well……because Laurie is one of the most knowledgeable gentlemen on the planet! We’re lucky to have him!How come when Laurie Splains Sumthin it always seems to makes good sense?
Stop it.Thanks for that tip Torsten. They've got a bunch of VV powders in stock cheaper than anywhere I've seen so far. VV will be getting my business from here on out. Choke on your powder Alliant!
We certainly are. When I read his posts I can almost hear that English ( James Bond) accent.Well……because Laurie is one of the most knowledgeable gentlemen on the planet! We’re lucky to have him!
I can almost hear that English ( James Bond) accent
That's the one. The best of all the Bond's............... I'm afraid not as I'm a lowland Scot, albeit an expat in northern England. So, the only Bond I might sound a little like would be the original version, Sean Connery.![]()
If the SHTF reloading supplies will be serious trading stock. If it doesn’t you’ll never regret sitting on components with a long shelf life anyways….If you would have invested your money in reloading supplies 3 years ago it would have increased your net worth better than the stock market and gold.
That’s cheap!… I think it’s $79 at my LGsYeah, Alliant can shove these prices up their a**!!! Finding Vihtavouri is a better option anyhow with good speeds and better temp stability

There is a 8 lb jug of RL16 at my local C-A-L Ranch for $659. It’s insaneI got one of the original 8 pounders of Reloder 16 when it hit the
market. $169 !!! H-4350 went away during that time period for
awhile, and R-16 jumped up to $189, and I bought another jug.
Of those 2 jugs. I have 4 pounds left and will buy no more since
it's way over $400 bucks now.
Just stopped tonight to double checkYeah, Alliant can shove these prices up their a**!!! Finding Vihtavouri is a better option anyhow with good speeds and better temp stability
