Gun stickers on vehicles

I like to read bumper stickers. I was thinking about the gun stickers on some vehicles. My thought was do criminals look for gun stickers and follow the vehicles home. I personally have no type stickers on my vehicles.
No, usually they break into the vehicle when they park in a public place. I thinking they may have a gun inside. Also if a big match is in town they hit the hotel parking lots because some folks leave Perrazi and Kriegoff shotguns in there vehicle.

I don't apply stickers to anything, don't wear clothing with logos or provide any free advertising for any company of any kind.

Quit doing that in my early 20s, no plans to start again.

I find it particularly ridiculous to pay a high price for something emblazoned with a brand. So.... pay a company to advertise FOR them?

Absurd.

I have a few army stickers. No glock or sig stickers despite having dozens of each throughout my drawers. To me putting stickers like that is like open carry. Why allow the tormented mind of a liberal focus their psychosis on you? Encountering a liberal could ruin your day... maybe worse than a criminal.

That happened to someone I shoot with occasionally. At a big sporting clay match in Las Vegas someone smashed the window out of his canopy and took a bunch of equipment. Fortunately no shotguns. The parking lot attendant for the hotel was "in the bathroom" when it happened... They claim. Yeah, everyone knows who was culpable if not the perp himself.

Happened a lot when I was a cop in San Antonio and the NSSC was hosting an event.

Not only from an advertising perspective, but stickers and vanity plates make you and your vehicle visually unique ... more easily identifiable.

There have been a lot of high end shotguns stolen in S.A. while a shoot is going on at National Gun Club. The gun club usually gets with hotels and the shooters get special rates there. The thieves know when and where to to go shopping.

They do.been able to chat with some unsavoury folks ( as well as just think like a criminal, how most can't seem to do that is a bit amazing to me lol ) and they say gun stickers and other stuff that makes you look like an obvious conservative gun toting red blooded type (especially on a pickup) are just prime target marks for a smash and grab. Because most of the time those vehicles will have guns. And usually something nice then a hi point or Glock 9 .That's why most of the ones on my car are some weboo anime nerd stickers. No desire to look like I have guns on me.

I think this is why the Southwestern Grand left San Antonio for Kansas....

You would think that it would be easy pickings for law enforcement to collect a paddy wagon full of perps.
There's a problem with grabbing up a paddy wagon full of perps these days. There ain't enough jail cells to put em. There ain't enough judges and court time to arraign them. There ain't enough PD's to defend em. There ain't enough PO's to watch em. --- jd

Interesting perspectives on this issue . So glad I live in a Constitutional Carry state , where there are a full abundance of Guns and Gun owners , and many Open Carry here , and it isn't looked upon as something "Wrong" to do . Because we have a very Open gun climate here , and one of the Largest Ranges in the country , guns are a accepted part of life here , and I don't live in fear of someone finding out I'm a Gun Owner . Maybe the "Bad Guys" finding out ahead of time , will save their life .

We have created a system in our own image. Congratulations to us for our collective success :( Or at least to those who vote for de-funding the police, no cash bail and make excuses for criminal behavior.
