Good bullet for javelina

Question for other javelina hunters out there. I have several cartridges i can choose from when hunting javelina but for the last 4 years i have settled on my 6mm creedmoor. Im using a 108 eldm hand load and it knocks them down hard. Have been as close as about 30 yards out to 200 yards. The 108 does some damage just like most with bad placement. I try my best to hit in right spot not to get stomach or back. But they can be small critters when looking at distance or if they move when trigger pulled. 2 weeks ago got one in stomach and blew stuff into both sides in the ribs. Waisted meat. Does anyone have a bullet they prefer? I can go smaller cartridge if needed but like the knock down power at distance. I tried my 204r twice with 35 bergers. Both times bullet went in and blew up. Did not stop them and took a follow up shot. I dont use that anymore. This last one a friend was able to record it. I need to figure out how to put a link to video on here.

I did a monster javelina in AZ( 50+#) a few years ago with my 6mm AI Encore handgun with a 85 gr. Nos. PT at 177 yds. Dropped. Getting ready for this hunt I used that same gun/bullet to take 2 WV whitetails at 390 & 410 yds. Both dropped. I've been totally pleased with the 85 PT.

I live in south Texas and hunt them. with a Swift 55 and 60 gr pills. Tommy Mc

22lr may work but not at distance. I closed the gap from 339 to 197 on this last one. Most of mine have all been over 100 yards. In a perfect time id shoot in the neck. The 108 does the job but leaves a hole lol.

In my quest for less meat damage I've stumbled into using monolithics. The Barnes X has been noticeably better than cup-and-core, or Nosler Partitions.
At the same time, I'm not really a solid copper bullet fan, but they do ruin less meat, on average.
This was on whitetail, muley, and elk, but should translate to javalina, I would think.

I used a federal fusion factory ammo. It dropped in its spot. Friend shot one actually same one with a Barnes and took off could not locate it.
After an hour backtracking and looking for the heard I saw this one bedded down only head showing above and downed saguaro.
Took the shot and droppped. We joked about it maybe being the one my friend shot and it turned out it was.
Not sure why this is in the varmint section lol
