So I’ve been using a Frankfort Arsenal trimmer. The trimmer concept is nice but the parts are cheap. The plastic collet has galled and it’s not trimming square. I’m sure I can get a replacement collet but I want to reduce the number of steps in my reloading process. I want to trim, chamfer and deburr in one step. I called Giraud to order a couple of Tri-ways but they don’t offer one for 284. I guess the trimmer is different on the powered unit. I looked at WFT but they Have some comment about you cannot neck size. I called them and told them I do not turn necks but I use a neck bushing. He said I needed to send in some cases to have the trimmer custom honed. Doesn’t make sense to me, what if I change brass. This cannot be that hard.
I trim 100-400 cases at a time.
