Lapua brass

Can you elaborate? I am not aware of "Lapua Norma" brass in terms of some kind of collaborative effort between the two companies. Is it possible you were looking at Lapua brass, and the cartridge name had "Norma" in it?

I'm guessing 6 BR Norma is what you're shooting. It's a designation but Lapua 6 BR brass is all the same in regard to the Norma designation in the headstamp. The only problems with it are price and availability. Lol! Well worth the price if you can find it right now. Haven't looked in a bit but order up if you see it.

I have Lapua brass that has 308 Win stamped on it. Win didnt make the brass! 6BR Norma is a cartridge designation just like 308 Win

Actually, when Norma came out with their version of what had been the 6mm Remington there were dimensional changes that can matter if you have an old rifle that was chambered for the Remington version. A friend had one of those, and it would not chamber Lapua 6mm Norma brass. for one thing the necks of the Norma and Lapua made to Norma spec. brass are longer by quite a bit, and the base .200 line diameter of the N/L brass is slightly larger. The solution ended up being having the barrel set back and rechambered using the appropriate reamer.
