Bat Machine

Called Bat machine the other day about some actions. Interesting a nice lady answered the phone. I asked for Steve as I always have a good conversation with him and end up ordering something. I was told he no longer works their. Sad to hear that as I have ordered a lot of actions from him over the years. Hope things are going well over their and Steve is doing alright.

Many of you may know Steve. He has usually been your first point of contact on the phone for the last 6 years.

Steve has been fighting cancer for the last 6.5 years. This started with a malignant melanoma behind his eye, causing him to lose eyesight in one eye.

Steve initially worked for us deburring, polishing and assembling actions ensuring their slick feel.

After losing sight in that eye, we transitioned him to shipping and taking care of phone calls. Steve and his outgoing personality excelled in this position.

In July of 2022 they found cancer in his liver and he was given a terminal diagnosis. Through some of our awesome customers, Steve was put in contact with the cancer research center in Texas. He has been going there for treatment over a year now.

He has continued to try and work during this time, but it has been very difficult. As of December 31 2023, Steve is concentrating on medical treatment and is no longer at BAT. Steve is missed by all of us at BAT, he truly is an exceptional person.

A gofundme page was created some time ago to help with his costs, he needs this help more than ever now!

Sincerely,

B.A.T.
