Garmin battery life

Now that is been out for sometime, what have you found is the battery life on the Garmin?

Multiple Range Days w/o charging. It's never been below 50%. I think I've only charged it twice since I got when it came out.

I'm 71. I shoot every Monday. Weather permitting. I'm going to shoot my components up. Can't take them with me.

How did you find the 38% number? All I see is a battery symbol showing roughly what's left. I can't find a percentage. It's probably right in front of me . . . .

based on a previous comment that garmin would not change the battery after warranty period,i called them. i was told they wont change the battery but would send a replacement unit for a service charge.she didnt know the details but should come out shortly. I would be very interested in amount...

Both the Garmin and the LR with a rechargeable battery pack will not last nearly as long in cold temps just due to the physics of rechargeable batteries when they reach 32* after an hour of shooting in the winter. So even though I may have an 85% charge, I always make sure to top it off for Temps 32 and below. Or leave an extra battery in the ranges clubhouse (heated) with my shooting bag.

I never knew it showed the percentage, just thought it was time to get it charged back up because it was under half a bar and noticed it when I did. Glad it helped!

Is the battery replaceable?

Yes, the battery can be replaced for $14 if you do it yourself. A member on here took one apart and it’s plug and play. I don’t remember the persons name but its was posted on another thread on here back in the middle of November.
