Lapua New Packaging

Has anyone else received new Lapua brass in their cardboard packaging?

I just received two boxes of brass for my F-TR rifle and it was not in the trusty Blue box . I will say the new packaging has more protection from shipping damage but im dissapointed.

If the cost was a factor then why was this also the most expensive palma brass we have ever seen.

Lapua, can you please bring back the blue ammo box?

Rant over.

I can live with it but nobody beats ADG for packaging. I'd prefer 100 ct boxes! What were they thinking? Lol!

Looks a little dusty...like I need to be shooting more! Dusty and rusty describes me shooting pretty well of late. Lol!

My last two $130 plastic boxes of Lapua x47L (Powder Valley] showed up with the brass beat to hell. Here's a random handful of maybe 20 with the worst shown from that handful. Brand new. Shameful. I'd much prefer a cardboard box if it actually protects the brass.

Easy fix use the proper expander mandrel and fix the necks. It will take a few seconds and the brass will be gtg. What's the big deal.

People complained about the old packaging due to dented case necks, now its in new packaging
where the case are separated and people want the old packaging.

Hilarious!!!!
The sceptic in me thinks it is cost saving. Imagine how much they save on the boxes and with 1 less case per box.

It's about time Lapua gets on the wagon with brass shipping and isolating each piece in container, regardless of plastic or cardboard. Downside, it will save them money but won't be forwarded to the end user. Oh well. I hope there is at least, some type of absorption in the box that the necks are resting on.
