Lapua brass question

I have had blue box Lapua before. I have also seen people requesting to buy yellow, cardboard box Lapua. Is there any difference? I bought a box of Lapua .223 brass from another member. I was surprised when it arrived today and was an unopened yellow box. I assume the yellow box is better in some folks' opinion?

Can't speak for all their brass but the difference in their 6br brass is neck thickness. The older cardboard box stuff has a thicker neck about a thou or so. A lot of people have chambers set up for this thicker brass and not having to turn the necks. That's why it has value, they don't want to rechamber to keep the same clearance and have to change bushings or dies.

I think all Lapua brass is made from a Platinum and gold alloy.
