New Garmin Xero C1 Radar Chronograph

I didn't test it, as it's raining, but it's not supposed to be triggered by muzzle blast. So it should trigger downrange and be able to show velocity at the target. At least 20 yards short of it.
 
Mine was delivered Sunday but I didn’t make it home until yesterday. Man this thing is small!!! Raining here today but hope to test later in the week. Glad to see someone tested above 4000fps and it worked. That was my main reason to give it a go. Anyone do any testing yet with a fast .17 cal or 20?
 
not owning one and only used one one time I didn’t know how bad the Labradar was until the Garmin came out and people started posting about them and flooded the classified with them for sale

I still say- the LabRadar works if the user knows how to operate it. Anyone with an old chronograph will be doing themselves a favor if they pickup a LabRadar with a trigger for a couple hundred bucks.

I agree. I had my Labradar for < 1 month. Before I bought it I read up on it a ton, watched YouTube videos on using it, etc.

In the short time I had it, it never missed a shot from my Benjamin Marauder PCP .22 Cal. I put over 200 pellets down range without a miss.

The only reason I made the switch was size of the Garmin and not needing accessories to capture shots. Be it from a PCP, Bow, Rifle, etc.

Labradar was my first love in the Chronograph world.
 
Garmin arrived, I’ll try it out in the morning. I knew it was small but it’s even smaller than what it looked like, handy. Not selling the LR, always good to have a back up, the magneto might be gifted soon though.

Three of us tested 3 different Garmin chronos at our Tuesday night shoot tonight, to include heads up against a Labradar. The Garmin is the Bees Knees! Picked up every shot, worked from all positions-high, low, sides, behind the shooter. Moved it 4 feet to the left or right to an adjacent bench and it correctly picked up the new bench shooter.

We also shoot under a large concrete baffel and it works perfectly eventhough the Labradar would still struggle with the use of the wired trigger. Garmin is a category killer with this launch. My Labradar is now a paperweight—creative destruction at its best.
