New truck time- looking for a raptor.

I have always had dodge. 1997 1500 had trans issues, had it 8 years and Trans started having issues. Traded for a 2003 1500, 5 speed ( that's why I bought it). Son is driving it now with 110k miles. Wife has 2015 ram with every option possible on it with life time warranty, 53k miles. I have 2022 ram 1500 company truck, got it in Oct 2022 now has 25k miles. I'm over seeing our company fleet, got more than 60 plus ram 2500 on the road , gross weight over 9k. Lowest maintenance cost we have seen. We used to run F250, ya there is a reason why.
All rams are hemi gas. And ford's where gas.
We tried diseal about the time time they screwed them up. Had a few chev duramax, ran then until they where worn out, 350k miles on them, before new restrictions took affect...

Well my Duramax has about 318,000 miles. So, even though it still doesn't use oil, it will fall apart in another 30,000 miles?

I'm just not in for feeding profits to a company set on making social statements. If I had to use any color scheme that didn't fit my ideals - I'd just quit. Target and Budweiser are two good examples.
I get it. I figure everybody has a right to spend their money with whom they please, and to stand where they choose on social or moral issues. I may not agree with them. But, as long as they stay in their lane, I am good. That is how the first amendment works.

My problem with a lot of folks who don't share my likings, like hunting, shooting, fishing, have stepped over the line and now want to ban these activities because they don't agree with them. It used to be, they might disagree but respected my contrary opinion. Not anymore.

You are right. That's how this country was formed. I don't care what anyone chooses to do, I just don't want it rammed down my throat.

Thought I'd tag this on the off-topic thread, since there are some Ford guys here):

My neighbor's 4x4 Ranger has a rear differential leak. (8.8" Trac-Lok) After spending considerable time cleaning it up, I now see where oil is coming out. What is the device on top of the diff. housing, above the fill plug? There's a rubber boot on it and an electrical wire sheath heading off somewhere.
