If you are retired, that calculator does not work very well.If you go plug that in to an inflation calculator, it matches up. The same truck isn’t more expensive now than it was in 2016; the dollar is just smaller.
Or your wages have stagnated, etc. but that’s different than saying trucks are more expensive than they used to be. It looks to me like the weird market forces that wacked out the price of new and used cars during COVID have subsided and prices are back in line with base inflation- which is why I am in the market now for a replacement.If you are retired, that calculator does not work very well.
there's a reason why ford sells more light trucks than anyone else .Dodges are discount trucks, when you can't afford anything else...lol
