yep, I bought the AMP on a whim one day. It works great but I should have taken my time and looked around a bit moreI'm the $300 annealer guy and the other $1200 on shooting miscellaneous.

Good deal.I got the Ugly on Amazon and it works great. The EP2.0 looks a little nicer but it lacks a hopper, that was a deal breaker for me.
So I must me a daredevil. I use my ugly annealer in my reloading room. Which is in my house in a spare bedroom. Which is also my day time office as I am able to work from home.
Powder of course is stored away from the work surface. I open a window and point a fan going out. I open the sliding glass door in the next room over to create air flow in the proper direction. I sit right in front of the annealer as it works and drops the brass.
I will say, that I probably wouldn't do it this way if I had not bought the Ugly annealer or an annealer in which the torch nozzle was not clamped to the system. On the ugly, the nozzle is clamped to a rod that is secure in the entire contraption. I run a hose to the propane cyl.
There is absolutely NOTHING faster than induction. If your induction setup was slow to heat up the brass it was either significantly underpowered, or more likely (and what I would bet on) a totally inefficient coil design that was barely coupled with the brass. My induction unit can easily melt a .308 case in under 8 seconds. Yes, I said MELT. That is about 3X longer than is needed to properly anneal a brass case.I used the electric induction for a year, it worked but was slow and tedious. I recently with the AGS, bottom line model @ 210 delivered. Setup and running in 15 minutes, I really like it, much faster and more consistent, you need to do some adjusting but once you get it set, it works. I would recommend the riser or be a DIY and fashion something to give more space for the finished brass. I am very happy with it.
Lol. I had a buddy who forgot to anneal his cases and thought it would be a good idea to do so after he primed them in his induction annealer. I was there when it happened and didn’t know they were primed cases. The first 10-15 went fine and he was catching the cases in a Pyrex glass bowl. Then all the sudden I almost shit myself when one went off in the bowl and that caused 3 or 4 others to ignite in the bowl. Needless to say, the bowl shattered and when the cases hit the floor another 2 or 3 went off. It was like popcorn. That is the last time I reloaded with him because he thought it was funny. Safety is no joke.considering we have a gas stove, gas furnace, gas clothes dryer, and a gas hot water heater the idea of having an open flame in the house does not worry me. I would have an open jug of powder or sleeve of primers next to it but then if I chose to it would only be the Darwin effect in operation. People who have no more common sense than that should not be swimming in the gene pool. You can buy a lot of metal baking trays for 1200 dollars
You might check on the MRB annealer.I often light my cigars with my annealing torch
Are the Marxist mobs planning to ban propane annealing next?
Investigating a few of the listed machines, prices are reasonable but no or minimum chyna parts is an important consideration for me.
