30 br powder ?

@JimPag at the range yesterday only shot 8-10 shots with 33.6 gns of the 19 H4198 and was still well over 3150 so may go back tomorrow with everything to load but from my math (that could be dangerous) I need to be around 32.5 to get to 3050 fps so if I go I'll let you know, also liked the N130, shot some really good groups.
Frankie, tell us a bit more about the N130. Any target pics. I have been contemplating trying some I my 30.

No sir sorry, I'm taking some tomorrow and will try to get some, Monday had a light wind and gun shot well, tomorrow supposed to be the same but you never know. If I'm able to get some I'll try to text them to you.

Sounds good. I need to get in gear. Going try some LT30 hopefully on Friday. The Nationals will be here soon. Have you registered yet?

Boy Frankie that is one fast lot of powder that you have. I hope the info that I gave you on the N130 worked. The drive to Mass the other night that I told you about paid off. Got all of Boyer's stuff gone including his motorhome now I have some room downstairs in my reloading room and I don't have to look at 200 6PPC barrels anymore. There is a God. I couldn't believe he stuffed all of that stuff inside that thing. A little overloaded is an understatement, but as of last night he was in OHIO and that old girl was motoring along considering that Tony and Faye purchased that new in 86. Boy if that motorhome could talk, I'm referring to all the shooters who have stepped inside her.

My lot of H-4198 produces kind of on the fast side as well. This is from my 24 inch barrel 700.

115 GR. BERGER 34.7 GR. H-4198 M V 3159 FPS
118 GR. BIBS 34.2 H-4198 M V 3043 FPS
125 GR. NOSLER A B 34.2 GR. H-4198 M V 3004 FPS

Shot a few 30BR rounds today. This ammo came with a rifle i purchased earlier this year from a fellow shooter, (Frankie you should recognize it). This ammo was pre loaded by the previous owner. LT30, 35.5 gr. 118gr Larry Moore bullets. Haven't shot much of anything this spring and the target shows it. I think I was a bit inpatient this morning.

When I load some for this rifle, I think I will tweak the seating depth.

More to follow with this rifle as I will try some of my own loads.

I will also post some data on my 30BRS that I also shot today with some LT30.

Tim

30 BRS load test this morning also, This was 36.9 gr. of LT30 and Berger 115gr FB Tgt. This was a load I used last year when fire forming brass, it will need some more work/refinement if I continue to pursue using LT30. Still would like to try some N130 as well.
I was not too impressed with my performance this morning. :(
