30BR powder dilemma

I am definitely on the right track. I had 10 rounds loaded and a young friend with me. I shot 2, 3 shot groups and he shot 4. His 4 was smaller than my 3's. I hate when kids beat me with my own stuff! It was windy, but mostly straight at us.

Randy, I received my bullets yesterday. They are BEAUTIFUL and look very shooty. I am excited to try them and eagerly await production resuming on the 30 cal. Thank you!

Better call - my e-mail is being INUNDATED with SPAM: tech support cannot tell me why! Literally HUNDREDS every time I check the mail. o_ORG
Old topic here but can't help suggesting. Not good to get email app on cell phone or give your cell number to email provider. Hackers sometimes call and if you answer the phone, they find a way to access you email provider through your cell email app. Bell Mobility company warned me after my email got infected and contacts were getting phony emails from my email address. Now when cell rings, if I don't know the number, I won't answer. Same goes for sms text messages, delete without reading them if you don't recognize the sender. Just thought this might help.

Here's a good representative example on a final load development after roughing in powder, seating depth, then fine tuning powder, and this target is finally only final seating depth and bushings.

Top line and the one shot on the second line is all the same bushing, moving in seating depths of .002.
3rd line is same seating depth (as the corresponding above it) with different bushing .001 difference. You can quite easily tell the different that it makes. Everything but the one marked with 5 shots were 2 or 3 shot groups until it started printing one hole. Then went one beyond that to see where it starts to come out of tune.

I keep track of all the targets through the process. This 5 shot group and the ones on either side mirrored exactly my rough powder/seating target from months earlier with 30 degrees difference in temp. Vertical, into one hole, into ragged hole.

This is why flags are important. As mentioned, even at 100 yards, a load that will shoot very small can be blown a whole bullet hole out with a wind change and you'd never know.

I know this is an old topic but when you wrote 26.5 and 28.5 on the target, did you mean grains of H4198 powder ?
