7mm 190hybrid load

So like many , with the shortage of 180's , I have tried several different speeds from 2760 to 2820 and seating depths from .005-.060 jump . Best groups were @.040 off lands . They pretty good up to 600yds in my .284 . At 1k it's hard to keep them on a 10" plate . I'm using Peterson brass , H4350 , BR2 , 30" @1:8 . Anyone have any load data or info to share would be greatly appreciated . Thank you .

I never got good results with the 190 in straight 284.

Try the 184 if you cannot find the 180.

I played with the 190s in my 284s quite a bit. The only powder I found that worked was N560. I was able to get 1/4 moa and high 2900s with it in a straight 284. However, the heat of explosion is just too high to shoot that powder in matches, so I abandoned it. As stated above by Stymie, the 184s are a very good substitute for the 180s and are more readily obtainable.

59gr too 60grs of N165 depending on the lot..
Approx 2840fps from my saum..
I can't remember seating off the top of my head..
Probaly around 10 off touch.

I tried Berger 190 Hybrids when I was running them at 2800 to 2880 they grouped great and shot great under 40 degrees then when it warmed up I had pressure problems switched to Berger 184 using 56.9 H4831SC

I just worked up a couple loads for some 7mm Rem Mags, both rifles ended up loving 69.5gr of H-1000 with bullets seated .025" from the lands in Norma brass. I was getting velocities of 2918fps in one and 2936fps in the other with both shooting under half moa at 100 yards. So far I have been pleased with how they are shooting.

I just worked up a couple loads for some 7mm Rem Mags, both rifles ended up loving 69.5gr of H-1000 with bullets seated .025" from the lands in Norma brass. I was getting velocities of 2918fps in one and 2936fps in the other with both shooting under half moa at 100 yards. So far I have been pleased with how they are shooting.

That’s the jump I run with them in my 7 saum.
