Neither am I Dusty, just a little dusty. But doesn't a ring die resemble a fat wedding ring, with no upper story at all?

Brian,
My son showed up this afternoon to shoot with me so I never took the time to look for my ring die but I did think on it, it looked similar to a Lee crimp die except the only place it touches the brass is at the base they were black in color and Paul was a forum member and probably still is I think his username was Pbike257 I imagine there’s others that make them

Did you have to shave the shell holder? I'm using a Forster Co-ax and was wondering if I can use this die.

Who's ring die to purchase for .308 and 6br dimension cases?
I've mentioned before that for a 308 you can take a 243 or 308 full length sizing die and cut about .100" off the bottom. Next take a drill the od of your shoulder dimension and drill out the neck. You now have a die that will reduce your case diameter from the shoulder to the base.
Yes, you will need to adjust it down in small steps to get the correct sizing.
