The Illinois F Class State Midrange Championship will be held September 9th and 10th 2023. Silver Mountain Electronic Targets will be used. The number of competitors will be capped at 72. Sorry there is no rv parking at the range. There are affordable motels close to the range as well as a restaurant 2 miles away.

I saw this post and I'm thinking about it, thanks for the heads-up! I checked out the Aurora Sportsman's Club link above and it looks like a wonderful facility. I'm trying to enter a few more 1000 yd matches this season though, so I don't know how many out of state MR matches I can realistically attend.

If a non resident wins the overall aggregate will they be the Illinois state champion? Or does that go to the highest finishing resident shooter?

Yes non resident can be the Illinois State Champion with your name on the trophy as overall aggregate winner as long as you are an ISRA member in good standing prior to the match. Thank you.

I understand that - Last year expenses are driving upward and unfortunately have to pick and choose.
This is like a redemption match as last year as mother nature was not kind to us.

Shoot the Illinois State F Class State Championship on September 9th and 10th. Following weekend head over to Missouri for their State Championship. Do some salmon fishing while in Illinois and bass fishing in Missouri.

Yes, there are openings at this time. We have doubled the number of E-Targets this year. We have a great prize table (drawing only) and Forster has graciously offered to provide a luncheon for the competitors. Champion need not be a resident. Any questions, or to register email symmers@comcast.net I am attaching a match program for convenience, even though there are a couple already on this thread.
