Generally my go-to bore cleaner. It will get copper and carbon at the same time.Still didn't beat Boretech Eliminator in my tests.
It's weight loss of the bullet after soaking not %.I am not sure I quite get he timeline.
But if I am reading the percentages right, all of the other cleaners are pretty much useless when compared to the KG-12.
Same here. I have bought 2 Kreiger barrels since 2009. Never saw any copper in the bore. I still use Butches Bore Shine since I think it does a good job with carbon and copper.None of the top grade barrels that I own have much copper in them after they are shot. I clean them fairly often. Perhaps we should have people indicate what sorts of barrels they are relaying experiences with. On the other hand, hard carbon is a continuing challenge, but I think that I have that problem well in hand.
The last Krieger I broke in (chrome-moly, not stainless) was the most epic slog of a barrel break-in I've ever been through. I think I went through a half gallon of copper solvent before that barrel broke in right. KG-12 is great for dealing with tough barrel break-ins.Same here. I have bought 2 Kreiger barrels since 2009.
