new krieger 13.5 twist 60 FB with 272 neck planning on shooting Barts 68 gr ultra could use some help with powder selection I have VV 133, VV 140, Lt32,LT30 and H4350 this is my first 6br so any info would be a greatly appreciated

N133 or N135 with 68 gr Barts Ultras. N135 was my preference. Start at touch and go into the lands. Don't be afraid to run a hot charge.

I've tried N-135 and N-140 in my 6br with the 64gr Berger Column bullet and got good results, but the best in mine with this bullet is AR-Comp.

JB, I've been shooting 68 BTs for a long time now and my 6BRs like 29-ish grains of LT-32 over 450s or BR4s, loaded 9 thou off touch. Doesn't seem to change when I change barrels (Shilen barrel nut). I've gone thru at least 6000 rounds on 2+ barrels ( I retire a barrel at 2K rounds just cuz ) and I get 20 reloads out of Lapua brass. The load chronos at about 3350 fps and it seems to work. The 6BR is just plain boring!

Start at 29.0 lt32 and work up.
H322 shoots pretty good too

I had about the same setup as you.
13.5 tw. 22 inch. Barts ultras. Started with N135
Not the fastest speeds but very consistent.
As Bart has told many, start with the bullet into the lands, cause
you have only one direction to go after that...

a lot of helpful info thanks to all that responded I'm starting my load devepolment this week i'll post some pic of those targets asap thanks again.

I'm running stiff charges of 135 in my 22.5" 6BR, and Barts 68 grn hpbt invaders. 3475 fps, and good enough accuracy for ground hogs and larger varmint. The target was shot without wind flags on a brisk right to left wind, it does do better with flags.

thanks for the info i'm going to start with lt-32 for sightin I have some 135 on the way

I decided to go with the N133 30gr with the 68gr barts started at touch in went in
got to 15ths and it came together

When you say in, do you mean into the case, so that you are jumping the bullet?

i mean into the lands I should have said 15ths into the lands my touch is 1.777 and these were seated at 1.792
