Boy I'll tell ya it's a bit rough living down here , I mean how is a man supposed to keep slimmed down when every where you go they have good food Every other gas station has a hot bar set up like this so you end up pay $20 on pump 2 then $10 at the register for a plate ! Lol I love it though

Just got through eating some Southern fried catfish for lunch today. I live in southern Ms and it was very,very tasty!!!

When we went out west to elk and antelope hunt my friend stopped at Jerry's catfish somewhere in Alabama or Mississippi. The owner had cut ponds in the side of the hill and the springs above changed the water in the ponds fast and with cold water. I asked the beautiful girls that were waitresses at Jerry's if the fish were fresh. She answered "they were swimming at 12:00 noon." they were the best I've ever had. The Okeechobee cats are good but not as good as Jerry's

Deep down in the Southeast we do fried Okra often. Makes most any plate little more interesting.
