Maybe you could use those bolt holes to secure a T type nut, then attach to the pan, a rail with T-slot, etc?
Can't disagree with that. I'm thinking through a clever way to clamp or strap it down.
I use a big switchable magnet put inside of the pan, flick it on and it holds it down on top of the cross slide. Use rare earth magnets to catch chips as well.
On the front of the pan I put an L bracket that bolts to a short length of 1" angle that is bolted to the carriage. Can't disagree with that. I'm thinking through a clever way to clamp or strap it down.

I will take a better pic.

Sound, looks good.dont forget to paint the frame. It's "Done". I only made one huge mess testing the air-blowout. It definitely blows things out.

I have a needle valve on my air line. It's set to allow a small amount of air to pass when I hit the foot valve. Then I open it up after blowing out most of the oil. A tin can in the right hand works great as a catch can when you apply air. It's "Done". I only made one huge mess testing the air-blowout. It definitely blows things out.
