Is a certain type of permit or license needed? License a bunch of dedicated varmint hunters, they would put a big dent in the iguana population and have them on every barbecue clear to Kansas City. New menu item Kansa City style iguana.

Since theyre non native and invasive anybody can kill them on their own property or on public land but you cant just go thru town shooting them without a license and permission from that landowner. It keeps folks from just riding around damaging roofs and windows and scaring people. Down in the keys its a past time for the young lads to hunt them. They used to pay a bounty on them but theres too many now
