1903A3 prices

Just a feeler question. I have a CMP 1903A3 I bought it in like 1998 or so, they mailed it to my house from Anniston. Great condition cartouches are all there, shot a few cmp matches with it. Anyways what are they going for price wise now. Red on the stock is not paint I edited the photo to hide partial serial number

Dang I sold one 10 years ago for $1,100
I have not kept up to speed the past several years on prices of various milsurps, decided I had enough, lol.
Doesn’t surprise me that prices may be down from years back. A friend has a few model 12 Winchester and claims he can’t get what he paid 20 years ago for them.

I looked for one at the worst of the craziness and could not find one for less than $1700.5 They have come down since then. But ihave no idea how much. I could not even consider $1700 so I bought a sarco drill rifle kit to remake into a rifle again. No way I would take less than 1200, if it's in good shape.

I recently bought a 1943 for $1,200, that was the best, negotiated price. That was for a very good condition, 1943-barreled gun. Texas has never been the place to find bargain prices on rifles.

Last year I picked up a beautiful 03A3 for $400. The receiver had been drilled and tapped for a scope somewhat killing collectability. In turn we turned it into a clone 03A4 with a reproduction M73 scope. Fun rifle.

I was very proud of paying $500 for a nice sporter with its steel scope, a while back. The oddest one of these I have is a sleeved, enormous 1903 actioned benchrest gun that appears to be a 90’s project. Something like a 16 inch LOP and huge grip. Not sure what class of matches would use a military bolt gun and 30-06 chamber, but someone around Houston had one with the smoothest action I’ve felt, that ended up at that quaint outlet, Collector’s Firearms.

I bought a sporter about 3-4 years ago, kinda rough, but had a RF Sedgley barrel on it. Paid $250 OTD. Got about $800 into it with new barrel, vintage sporter stock, trigger, Smith fees and everything. Just waiting for cerakote. Its been D&T for scope bases, so not worth restoring to original.

I did the same thing a few years ago. Great for the vintage sniper rifle matches.

That was my intention, but I must have done a really good trigger job. Can't make weight with a 2lb trigger. However have taken out 2 Nazi white tail deer with it.

Just seen on https://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.php?t=388137&highlight=1903a3 Looks like it was first posted in April for $1050.

1903A3 - $900

Selling a Springfield 1903A3 made by Remington which is in good condition. The receiver and barrel are both dated February 1943. The forward handguard was repaired at some point. The bore has strong rifling and the bolt is smooth. It*s unique the barrel and receiver and dated the same and could indicate it was not rebuilt.
