Demil'ing a 1903A3 Drill Rifle

Ok I'll bite. How do you convert the barrel. Use a sleeve and glue it in? But then how do you convert the bolt from centerfire to rimfire?

David
The gun was made in 22 lr called the 1922 Springfield. Bolts are available from gunparts , barrel is sleeved wit the sleeve extended to the bolt face . Itll be a single shot unless you adapt a stevens or older marlin 22 mag . Ive converted 8 or 9 at this point . I started making barrels using premium blanks , they can be fun and extremely accurate. The bolt is headspace adjustable ( m2 late ) if you want you can make a A4 sniper replica in 22 lr . Fun easy ( your choice on how easy ) and cheap to shoot .
I started converting early low num Springfields when I was in my 20s as an apprentice. Even then I couldnt afford a real one , eventually I bought a few . Prices have been steady recently on original 1922s depending on model and conditions. I guess the people that admire a full size 22 is declining.
Pm if serious .
