What caliber would you choose

Which caliber would you choose to build between 17 Fireball, 17 Mach IV, 20 Practical or 20 Tactical. Not shooting past 300 yards. Very light recoil and super accurate is a must. Have lots of 223 and 221 fireball cases.
Thoughts and why.

Coincidentally l was talking w a Bud today who has a tremendous depth of experience with multiple 17 cal iterations. Shot squirrels on trips till tired of shooting, shooting and more shooting in almond groves.
Our conversation centered around ease of forming brass, case life via split necks for 20 cals. He said he cared not to revisit the .17 venue. The work involved to form the VT plus the .1 gr sensitivity when pushing fps, my reamer choice is the 20 Duster even though I have a .235nk VT reamer.
As a person who reloads to be able to shoot, 20 Prac is the easiest peasiest way for me to enjoy shooting. TAC is right alongside but a smidge behind. As the 223 to the 223AI.
Depends on what you like to do during hobby time....if it ain't fun, why do it?

Just my opinion but i would get a Fireball for factory ammo. Not that i would use the factory ammo but for resale factory ammo opens up more potential buyers than a reload only wildcat.

Pick one, really……. As close to equal as they are I don’t see 17FB or 20VT going away in my stable. I reserve them for the lighter projectiles. I will have to run a few hundred more through the VT before I could make a hard decision between the two. The 17FB is a laser and does not disappoint out to 250+, point, shoot, splat.

20P or 20T, right now today would depend on what dies I could find before I made the decision. FYI, I bought a 223 FL S die just because it was there, so I suppose that puts me in the 20P club.

20 practical or 20 Sploder (20-223a)

Simply for the brass.

I have been talking to a lot of my customers and getting brass is an issue in every case except for 223 based cases. And your brass selection is endless.

300 yard max paper punching, skip all mentioned and build a straight 222 then go get yourself about any 52 or 53gr match/target bullet a jug of H322 powder and commence to shooting tiny little groups that'll make you giggle like a little girl.
Would you recommend a 1:12 twist for that weight bullet?
