Yes - BIG difference in knockdown power if going from the 40 grain .20's to the 55 Gamekings. I have had a lot of coyotes run off using the 32 V-Maxes (not all perfectly placed - but all solid body shots). Doesn't happen much when you step up to the fast .22's. If you were using the 32's in you .20 - you might want to try the 40 V-Max - as a big difference as well.I just traded for an upper with a 22" Wilson combat barrel. I've been killing coyotes with my 204. This should have a bit more knock down power.
I just picked up some 55gr Sierra gamekings to try.
I would rather see a 20 and Nosler step up their game and bring out a 50 and 55 grain .204 bullet offering. If a 17 were to come around I would desire 25-30 grain.Has anyone thought bout sizing a 22 Nosler down to a 17 Nosler. I think it would be a heck of a Prairie Dog rifle and even a Coyote round.
