You would enjoy your .223 AI a lot more with a brake on it. Seeing the hits is sooo much nicer.Build a heavier 22-250 and put a break on it?.

Yes it is!You would enjoy your .223 AI a lot more with a brake on it. Seeing the hits is sooo much nicer.
This22-250 is just to much powder burned for a dedicated P-dog rifle. Barrel wont' last very long either. Why not go with the 20 Vartarg, 20 Practical, 223 or your AI? Most of us that have shot well over 10K of the little guys don't shoot that caliber for pdogs. Good Rockchuck round or coyotes though.
Much Appreciated info.I will tell it like it is.
The brass will start to smear on the bolt face even with nosler load data.
I have made my brass last a little longer using leverevolution, but" can't pass 3075fps. Or brass goes to doo doo!. And at this point my project rifle has been a total let down.
My purpose for this rigg was to push the 77 SMK's at a higher node than the 223 can..
And well".. unable to do that.
Will not lose primer pockets, just thins out at the base too soft of brass seems to me.
FYI, in case anybody needs some 22 Nosler brass I have 139 pieces once shot available for sale, PM me in interested. For anyone considering a 22 Nosler, see if you can find brass.
Don't build something you cannot feed.
Maybe sometime in the future Nosler will do another run..
I would very dislike to have anyone go through the same scenario as I" did.Much Appreciated info.
Had a bolt gun build on my list for awhile now. Sounds like a fine time to scratch through an otherwise great idea.
