Turning To Air Guns

I picked up a Beeman R7 22cal one of the best things I’ve done in a while.I shoot 50-75 yards on a good day I’m keeping my shots in the radius of a half dollar at 50 yards open sites. With it scoped I can go hole in hole at 50 yards the R7 is a fantastic shooter.

No. So when a round is 5.00 how much are you going to. Are you just going to let the big couple companies keep gouging you. Not me. Oi will play snother game until they are choking on overrstock over price.
Great off hand practice and you can do it in your basement.
Exactly, I’ve been fiddling around with my Weinrauch 97K in the basement today. 72 degrees and no wind.

I have found that the .177 caliber to be the most accurate and has the least amount of drop at airgun distances, for hunting the .22 makes the most sense. I built a switch barrel air rifle once, used the .22 for hunting until the severe drop made hits at longer ranges problematic, after awhile I simply left the .177 barrel on, that is how most switch barrel rifles finally end up.

Just the opposite, I hope I didn’t insinuate that I was giving up and waving a white flag. I will still practice and compete with my center fire match rifles. Just not as often. Instead of shooting a $100 of ammo I can have fun and build my skills for less than $5.
Of course you weren’t insinuating that and I shouldn’t have opened my mouth about it. I just fear the other side looking for a feel-good compromiser to shut us up, is all.

I recognize the Burris Signature Zee rings, but what base are you using? My 97K is supposed to be delivered this Wednesday.

PCP airguns can get expensive. Started with an Airforce Condor in .22 with a Hill hand pump. I Then added two Marauders one in .22 and the other in .25 cal. After that added a Marauder pistol. Then switched to a carbon fiber air cylinder to fill the guns. Next was a Hatsan Gladius in .25 cal. Shortly after was a compressor to fill my scuba tank. Then recently bought a FX impact M3 with a barrel tuner. Other then the pistol they can all shoot 1/2” fifty yard groups when conditions are right. The FX impact Is more consistent. The barrel tuner is pretty new so I havn‘t fine tuned yet. Target shot at 50 yards. BB8BEBFE-A2DC-41A2-9D01-4A4040CD0D9B.jpeg7B914D2A-9BCC-4A75-871C-B793E5BA63E6.jpeg

I'm having a hard time visualizing any scenario where a .177 shoots flatter or kills better at longer distances than a pellet with twice the weight. What do you consider long range?

Ive got a bunch . Ive been looking at a new semi , FULL , auto with a suppressed barrel . 22 cal , 25 cal or 30 cal . Just at $1000 . Full auto 30 cal with a shrouded ( suppressed ) barrel . Whos given in ? Oh , and it’s delivered to your house , no paperwork.

If you're referring to the Hatsan Blitz, read the reviews. I looked at them too, but I think I'll stick to side-cockers.
