I assumed those might have been just the cup before assembling with priming compound and the anvil.Did anyone notice how the primers were stored?
Like GA maybe? The ammunition side is likely the best bit of the old company. A girlfriend of mine is very close friends with the guys behind Roundhill. They've been having a very tough time with, amongst other things, the unions involved in the NY factory and are pretty close to just packing it all up and moving to a different state to start anew.
I'm with you on the shotshells. The Remington Gun Club has been my main clays ammo for the past few years but I haven't seen any of that ammo for a year and a half or more. Keep seeing the PR about how much is being produced but never see it at the store. Also, the clubs don't seem to have much luck getting shells either. Seems like a lot of the ammo news is fake news. Was at Cabela's today and they had tons of 9mm, 223 and 308 military type ammo but only a few 20 and 28ga target shotshells at $10 - 13 per box, no 12ga.I'll just be happy when I see some 7-1/2's on the shelves again . You know . Those "junk" primers nobody ever buys . But you couldn't find them even before the shortages . Cause nobody uses them .
I saw that too and was thinking that can't be right (storing like that). I think you're right though. Likely just the cup.I assumed those might have been just the cup before assembling with priming compound and the anvil.
I just ate at that log cabin cajun place in your town a few weeks agoI live about 20 miles from there. I have one buddy that works there that will tell me a little of what goes on. Lots of others won't hardly talk. I don't know if its lack of interest or company policy. They are one of the bigger and better paying employers around here.
Get the ell out of UnionvilleThe ammunition side is likely the best bit of the old company. A girlfriend of mine is very close friends with the guys behind Roundhill. Well heck, If we had only known we might have met up! I hope you enjoyed it. They have pretty good food but like most places they are having staffing problems.I just ate at that log cabin cajun place in your town a few weeks ago
