Lactic Acid is also a component of yogurt, anyone tried using yogurt to clean their barrels? LOL

Yep, I stopped using it after soaking a bolt in it for a few minutes...
Yeah,I had a bolt seize in action, after ride from ny to Missouri for last years rendezvous. I was heading to benches, checked rifle and bolt would not move..finally got it out with a mallet. Completely corroded,,,went back to Borden for nitride coating,,,,never again

I've been using this.
Fantastic results!!!
Plug end of barrel, squirt this in until it squirts back at you.
Let set approx. 1 hour, run brush 6-7 times.
Run acetone soaked patch through until it comes out clean, repeat as needed.
Perfectly clean barrel every time!

Thats a lot of carbon. Try the boretech carbon remover and a bronze brush. Itll come out
Yeah, right.
There is virtually NO carbon. (note the word virtually)
The images ARE from a couple inches down from the chamber, with the exception of the open image which is about midway down the barrel.
I did try bore tech along with a dozen or so other so called cleaners.
Hoppe's #9 has done the best by far.
