Look at this crazyness I found at local store

I keep seeing prices go up. Then I go into the "room" and see 1500 222, 1000 K Hornet, 500 17 FB, 300 20VT brass all loaded, several thousand bullets for each, 80 pounds of various powder, 4000 primers, buckets of 38, 40 SW, 308 and 223 brass (I don't own a 38 or a 223) and know of 15K of FGM large and small primers I can get for original cost (1990 price) if I need them from my mentor who is aging out of the game. And somehow I still feel nervous. I might have a problem.

Heck, I can remember when I started out and 25 222 lasted me a summer.

I probably could live the rest of my shooting life and not use it up...and yet I still feel anxious.

I think I need to relax a bit.

I don't like the high prices we are seeing at all. But, what if at some point down the road we find these "were" the bargain prices ?

got a guy across the street from me that knows I was a SRBR shooter and also had a Ruger #1 V in .223. Soooo, he buys an ar-15 and brings it over to show me this thing that seems to be the craze of no gooders. ( it's not on a (platform) and looks very deadly ). He thinks he really has something, and proceeds to say... Mine isn't as accurate as your competition gun, But mine will kill you at 800 yds !!. I had already told him our ppc"s run best at app. 3100-3400, with a 65 gr. pill. Didn't seem to matter.....
Fast forward...
He needs powder and knows I had a .223...........
"Yeah Joe... I need some powder.. My response...? Bruno has some with a hazmat price included . ( I still have 3# lbs. of H335, and 2 /1/2 of 2230 I bought from "Boots" 40 yrs. ago, ( but he's not getting it), although I didn't tell him what I had.
