Vudoo 22LR

I just got the tracking # for my Vudoo Renegade three 60 rifle. It will take about a week to get here. Just got a brick of Lapua Center-X. It took over 5 months for the rifle to show up. Not bad for as busy as they are. If it’s as good as they look I’ll be ordering a 22 magnum next.

I bought my 1st V-22 action in September of 2017, barreled it with a Krieger sendero blank, and have been enjoying the dickens out of it ever since. Have sold one complete V-22 from VGW, and several others purchased as bbl'd actions and stocked by myself or the owners - no complaints out of any of them. Bought one of the new Gen 3 V-22S single shot actions and put a Shilen ratchet rifled select match in R5 contour on it, after chambering with a Nevius reamer. With the Flavio Fare trigger set at around 2oz, it's amazing to watch bullets go into the same hole at 50yds when I manage to do everything right. There's also a new Three60 action sitting in the safe, along with a TT Diamond trigger, Hawkins M5 DBM, Manners PRS1T stock, and an Athlon Cronus 4.5-29x56 scope & rings - all waiting on me to get time to make the choice between another Krieger, or Shilen, or Benchmark blank to do for this new 3-lug action. Looks like it's going to be after fall harvest is finished now...so you should have your new rifle broken in and shooting great by the time I get anything done.

I have heard that the 22LR is a money pit. The addiction is over whelming. I just got lucky to pick up a 95% 40X. I had competed in USPSA pistol competitions for almost 37 years, and was the worst for spending to have the best advantage. I don't shoot USPSA much anymore. Now that I will be trying this new sport, if the 40x is going to be fun, I can see down the road being a Vudoo customer. Congrats.

I picked up the rifle on Monday, slapped one of my backup scopes on it and shot it today. I wasn’t really trying for groups just sighting it in and starting the break in process. I’m waiting on some rings so I can put a better scope on it. The metal is finished in Vudoo green, Ace barrel in Kukri contour and Timney Hit trigger set at 9 OZs. I also have my Sparrow suppressor On it.DBDDABB6-3E3F-452C-B21A-840FE502AD03.jpeg61DCDB23-CBF5-4874-8005-D04AFC4187A8.jpeg502539EC-95E6-4C9E-9AE3-FE9430F90967.jpeg4F6E4036-4743-45CC-94D1-9D97CCDA8CCD.jpeg

I bought this rig for squirrel hunting, target shooting and just fun in general. I will probably try to take my shooting buddies money with it also. We’ll see.
They are going to have to spend a lot of money on something comparable or they are gonna lose a lot of money to you. :),

I shot some groups today to see what ammo it liked the best and to break everything in. Tenex,
Center-X, Wolf ME and some Eley club. The Tenex shot 1 pretty good group out of 4. .192”.
Wolf ME shot ok. .249”. Club shot 2 groups and one was probably in the .3 range. Then the Center X. It took about 10 shots to settle down then it shot a .170” & .179. Back to back. So out of the ammo tested the Center X shot the best. As it should be. 5 shots each at 50 yards.

More work is required I’m sure. Somebody has to do it.0E8EDE33-14E5-4487-B81C-AE1A871A15DA.jpeg8D4492F2-783A-4420-ADBE-80C255064211.jpeg69DFEE7E-1B4B-4481-BF2B-922EEF285B86.jpeg4ACDAC2A-931F-46B7-AF75-169ECEE38568.jpeg
