VuDoo vs CZ 457 MTR with Lapua Center X

What question, if any, was your test trying to answer?

I was trying to see if the 3 different lots of Center-X I had showed much difference in accuracy in the 2 rifles I will shoot it in. And I was interested in seeing how the Vudoo compared with the Lilja.

Most of my use of Lilja drop in barrels have been 17 HMR and Mach2. Less experience with the 22 LR barrels.

Gotcha so it’s essentially an ammo lot test. Either those lots are all pretty good and equal or the test environment introduced enough variance to hide the differences.

It’s always ideal to have a known great performing ammo lot to toss in as a reference. Helps confirm the equipment and shooter are at their best and isolates the variation to be just the ammo lots.

Two nice shooting rifles. Why did you throw out the two largest groups for each rifle? Testing ammo I'd shoot that target as it's designed to be shot, one round in each bull, shoot 3 to 5 targets then average the scores.

Thanks for the comparison. It is interesting. It would be interesting to know more about the rifles. Different platforms are going to have different accuracy expectations. Single shot BR rigs will normally out shoot repeaters. Then there is conditions. I wouldn't be too quick to beat up the Vudoo. With the 22 LR every increment better than one mt. at 50 yds comes with a price tag.
