2021 IBS - 600 Yard Nationals

Hats off to Piedmont gun club.

Tommy & company put on a great match.
The target crew, was incredible.

Thanks goes to Jim Cline for calling the line in such a professional way.
We were certainly time efficant.

Congrats to all that won & partisapated.

I didn't win and i still came away with a great weekend spent shooting with good people.
This was the most enjoyable Nationals that I have attended, even though I personally did not do well.
If all matches at Piedmont were run this way I may have to come out of retirement after 7 years and return to competition.
Jim Cline did an excellent job calling the line and was very professional and supportive to all that needed assistances. Thanks you Jim.
Thanks to all of the donors for their support and giving.
Thanks to Blue Collar Reloading.

Joel Kendrick/AKA-Quartersnatcher

I attended as a spectator, and was really impressed at how well the match was run. And I met a nice bunch of folks too.
Congratulations to the all the help, and to all the shooters on a job well done.

Thank you to everyone for the nice comments. As the range safety officer all you can do is try to keep everything flowing as smoothly as possible. This CAN NOT happen without shooter participation and urgency. I was very impressed that we only had 2 shooters that had to shoot a target due to a crossfire. Pulling off a Nationals with over 100 shooters and rotating every time, this was an unbelievable accomplishment on their part. Great match Tommy and it will be talked about for many years to come. Great shooting everyone!

I wasn't there, but those that were texted in amazement as to how smooth it was ran. That's a huge compliment to everyone involved in my book.

Congratulations to all the winners...especially "boy I don't think I have anything for them" Jason! Huge accomplishment winning 1,000 and 600 ibs nationals in a lifetime, not to mention the same year! Dave Way, nice shooting as well. Putting together the smallest group agg ever at national on Saturday!

Tom

Edit to add,...Roy texted and said his 4 shot group agg from Saturday was 1.5xx. So if we ever start a handicap class, we all better watch out for Ole Roy!

All I can say is wow!!! What an awsome match, congrats to Tommy and all the hillbillys that helped him, that was amazing. The line nazi was awsome and those hillbillys had their squirrel rifles tuned... A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Jason, what a super stud and awsome guy.

Well ….. SOMEHOW WE MADE IT HAPPEN !!!

Saturday and Sunday, Piedmont Gun club had the best there is:
Best match director - Tommy Williams
Best range officer - Jim Cline
Best target crew EVER !!!!
Best prize table
Best Shooters/people in the World

Thanks for everyone who came, and everyone involved in making this happen. Already looking forward to next year’s Nationals at Memphis.

Jason “The Iceman” Walker - Awesome performance my friend. You are one of the best to ever play this game, as well as a SUPER good dude! Winning both nationals in the same year is absolutely amazing. Congratulations!!

WOW what a weekend
I would like to thank all the shooters that made the trip to shoot this event it was good to get to see some old friends and make some new ones.

I also have to give Tommy Williams a big thanks Tommy has give his personal time for years and years so we can all have a place to shoot and enjoy this sport. I know Tommy has been match director for 16 years or longer that's a lot of personal time to give up just so others can do what they enjoy.

I also want to say thank you to all the sponsors that stepped up and supported this event it was very humbling to see how companies and people stepped up and give back to the sport with that said everyone please support these companies when you can.

Wow
I know that this crowd at Piedmont just set a new standard on running a national event thanks to the target Crew probably without a doubt the best I’ve ever seen. Range safety officer when I herd cline was running the line I knew he would keep us hustling in the right direction. Tommy cool and calm as always Seth. Mike amazing prize table Score personnel great job and I know I left someone out so thank you to all Jason. What can I say your a true champion and well deserved can’t wait till next time.
Ronnie

You did a heck of a job! Definitely couldn’t have asked for it to run any smoother!

You deserve all those nice comments and more. The entire match staff, especially the target crew, did an amazing job.
About one of those "cross fires". I couldn't help it. It wasn't a cross fire, just a 5' group. ;):eek:o_O
PS
My sincere apology to Mr. Loflin.
