Better than One Shot case lube

Doesn't anybody use the Imperial die wax? I have use this for years and never had a problem. It wipes off with a paper towel and cases size easily. A can lasts for years so it's cheap. Matt
I use it for case forming. the 2 cans I have will probably last me for the rest of my life!

Since I've found the home brew mix, I don't use anything else. I mix a bottle of red HEET to 2 oz of Lan Oil and that's my mixture. I'll put 100 cases in the container I use, hit them with about two shots of the spray, mix them up, spray them again with two shots and I go directly to sizing. Never an issue, and a mix of it seems to last forever.

What does red heet do differently than iso alcohol? Are you talking about Heet the fuel line treatment in the red bottle? One Shot doesn't get into your powder and contaminate it. What does this Lanolin oil do if its able to contaminate your powder?

I use Imperial wax for all my rifle loads. Same here I’m on 4 years same can.
Typically, I just clean necks with 0000 steel wool. Never had a problem with Imperial and when I wipe it off with a paper towel it cleans the cases.
I do use one shot for pistol cases, 100 in a cardboard box, spray and shake. Makes sizing even with carbide dies easier. I find it’s a must for new 45acp brass to keep the expander ball from sticking.

Sharp Shoot R royal case & die lube in the aerosol can is what I use. 2 or 3 sprays to 50 BR cases mix em up and good to go. Alot better than the wipe on wax. A little goes a long way. Wipe em off with microfiber afterwords.

My issue with the homemade spray, I haven't found a spray bottle that will function until the batch is gone. The heat must be hard on the pump. And I find myself working on 15-20 cases, so the one shot is easy to grab first. I do clean and spray sizing die with one shot before spraying cases and sizing.
These have lasted over 2 years with no issues

Good stuff, but tedious to use. I'm into max batches of sized cases.

The reason using Red heet is that it is 99% pure alcohol. the regular alcohol is normally 70% alcohol and the rest is water.

I think someone already mentioned it, but instead of hunting locally or ordering 99% alcohol, you can go to automotive section of Walmart and buy the red “iso heet” for less than $2/bottle.
