Looking at a used Weaver t-36 for rimfire. It has a white nylon screw in the lower side, opposite from the turrets. Maybe the 7 o'clock position looking from the back. Anyone have any input what this maybe? Reticle lock of some type?
Thanks for the info. Does it damage the scope or nylon screw if someone has tried to adjust the turrets with loosening the screw? I don't know all the history of the scope. My friend has only owned for a few months.Correct, a reticle lock similar to the one you'd see on a Leupold 36x with a Tucker conversion lock. If you buy it, then be sure to slightly loosen the nylon screw BEFORE making any turret adjustments. Make your adjustments and then relock, finger tighten only to snug.
