Weaver T-36 Info?

The glass on the new weavers is a crap shoot. The older ones all seem to have pretty good glass for the money, but some of the newer ones have junk glass. My first target scope was a newer T-36, and it was just awful. Sold it and bought a Sightron Slll. (Not a fair comparison) Put a Vortex Golden Eagle on my next gun. (again, not fair at all) Now I just bought a CZ 455 varmint and I ordered a Mueller 40x56 for it. It should be here this week. We will see how this $269 scope looks compared to the Weaver. I have never seen one so it should be fun.
