Anyone have a Dillon order waiting...????

I placed an order for caliber conversion kit early last November. Still waiting. Two. Months ago they told me they were still waiting on dies which were two weeks away. I let a month go by and checked again and that’s when they told me it will be another 48 weeks .

Some of the Manufacturers that make some of these products likely have trouble getting their materials. I say that because I sell Industrial Equipment and sell to a lot of Man. plants and I see this all the time!

If you order a press with dies, long wait.

Press without dies, short wait.

Their carbide supplier is way behind.

Not true when I bought my 550c in .45 acp. in January. I bought loader, .45, 9mm, and .223 dies and conversion kits at the same time. The loader and .45 conversion kit with no dies came in three weeks. The
other two conversion kits came in another couple of weeks. The .223 dies showed up last week. The .45 and 9mm dies are still on order. At the time I made the deal in January, expected wait time for all dies was 28 weeks (August or September) I solved that problem by buying 4 calibers of Lee dies (I bought the 4 die Lee sets) So, I've been loading since about 5 or 6 weeks after initial purchase thanks to Lee. When the Dillon dies finally come, I may not ever use them. The 4 die Lee sets, with Factory Crimp Die, turn out some mighty fine cartridges on the 550C. As a side note, I used to have a Square Deal B in about 10 calibers. I think it was more pleasant to use than the 550, but this time around, I wanted to load rifle as well as pistol.

Get a conversion kit and buy Lee dies off the internet. I did. See my post above.

Not at all.

Call back and change your order to a press only without dies.

Within a couple weeks it will show up.

I just received an email that my Square B reloading machine and dies has been shipped. I hope that this is good news for those that have been waiting also.
