My 284-ELF cat project has been on hold for lack of a new barrel.
It's been over seven months waiting on a barrel that was promised
in 8 weeks. I won't go into details in the open but match's are right
around the corner, and I'm runnin' out of time. I gave Stan a shout
and gave him some details of what's needed. He said " Can Do" and
will have it to you in about "3 WEEKS" ?? Well this week is about 3
weeks, and the brown truck knocked on my door last night ?? All I
can say is, Life is good. Thanks Stan !!

My friend got his 284 Win barrel from Douglas in good time.
He finally got it mounted in the Boyds stock, teamed up with an EGW 20 MOA base, Vortex Viper rings & Burris Fullfield II scope.

With weather breaking, (at long last!) We are going to put some rounds through it today.

The gray bed cover does nothing for the Pepper laminate stock!
