Electric cars eating our copper!

Word on the st is copper is going up and way up as the whole electric car thing is eating up the copper!
Might have have to take up either bowling or pool!
None resident hunting has trended towards the wealthy with yearly increases in tag price hikes! I see this sport headed there shortly!
crazy times!!

Or do like me and hold your FreeportMcmoran stock a little longer.

I was just reading an article on copper reserves. It's a
strategic metal that can't be pulled out of the ground fast
enough. When it is ; refining the raw material is a major
hold up. Then there is that hated word "Hoarding". Scrap
copper on the market gets manipulated to drive up the price.
Kind of like me !! I have 5 buckets of range brass stored,
Maybe it's time to hit the scrap yard and cash out. But that
problem will not help. It will just be sent overseas

At the range, I still see good, reloadable brass being tossed in the garbage cans. Some folks just don't get it.

BTW, I can recall the theories in the 1960s about what was causing the price of copper to go so high. It's not a new issue. The solution is to reload and recycle.

Still have a few pounds of wheat pennys I planned on giving
to the grand kids. Copper alone has doubled their price.

At one of the club meetings, we had an assayer come in to
look over the trap fields for reclaiming, He said he would look
the berms.

Silver should skyrocket also...
I sure hope so might be time to cash in some pre 64 coins and some mint pieces . Mrs keeps asking me why I'm saving my collection we don't have kids to leave to. I kinda see what she is saying . I have traded for some long guns hint hint . Pennies , nickels ,dimes , quarters .5 dollar and such Pretty much all pre 64 to mid 1800's I sure hope valuable metals climb up.

Currently everything is up in price thanks to our make believe government. It's like Bill Clinton quipped in 92 "everything that's supposed to be up is down and everything that's supposed to be down is up". It was sort or a joke back then. Not so much now.

Here in Texas we couldn't produce enough electricity to light our homes during the cold snap last winter much less power electric vehicles. If the leftists get their way we'll all be riding bicycles anyway and in our state that'll be morbidly funny.

As long as there's enough copper to make bullet jackets, we're good.

At our clubs range, reloadable brass is seldom found. I did score 20 cases of 223 once fired, last week, but thats all I have seen in weeks.
